La Misión (1) - Dia de Muertos

The district of The Mission is definitely and hands down my favourite neighbourhood in San Francisco. Originally knows as the Mission lands, the lands belonging to the six missions in California established  by the Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order in the 18th century. Mission San Francisco de Asis, or Mission Dolores, is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco. The neighbourhood is now a major hub in the art scene, music, food and… occasional gang tensions.

… more to come about the Mission...

  2. It's bohemia land, you would have loved it! Nope, no skeleton in the suitcase this time, I bought a notebook and some mexican coffee, haven't had it yet. Ah, and that octopus leg :-)
