How is it that the NoTrespassing sign makes you want to trespass even more? (maybe a Please Do Trespass at your Convenience sign would be more efficient). This is an abandoned factory in Tenno (Hiroshima), I felt I needed to enter and explore. I have no idea what they were manufacturing here. Heavy material for sure, hard and draining work under yellow helmets in what was probably a very noisy place.
That spotlight falling in the third photograph...
ReplyDeleteThe calligraphic hose grabs me too.
Thank you BW! There was a strange kind of light in there. Really dark but with very localised spotlights. Knots knots knots :-)
ReplyDeleteA lot of potential here. My first idea would for you to buy it and turn it into a nightclub. Put up a big neon sign outside; Marie's Mad Machine (MMM) and keep the beams of light inside for special effects.
ReplyDeletePS Great photos, you should break in more often.
Excellent, Marie.
ReplyDeleteMMM would be a great name :-))... but I'm too old for nightclubs. Breaking in I can still do, yes :-)
ReplyDeletethanks everyone!
I just finished watching a post apocalyptic series where a bunch of "survivors" have to live and make do in a big warehouse, just like this one. Colony or colonists or something. Keep trespassing, Marie, and next time you're back there, grab those 1-50 drawers for me please?
ReplyDeleteOh dear, those drawers are as tall as I am! (OK, that's not very tall, I know). But now that you mention, I could have stolen a couple of boxes, that's true. Next time. Or do we have enough boxes? Sure we do. But do we want more of them? Sure we do. Help! (again).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Marie! A cathedral... love the fourth photo. oh no when I blink I see the disco lights...
ReplyDeleteCarina
Carina! :-) You know I immediately thought about you after the disco comment. If you ever want to team up we can open that disco after all. We'll play exclusively ABBA songs.
ReplyDeleteha, ha, wonderful idea, we can wear our fancy cat minidresses :D
