Is there a florist in your family? I remember those green blocks all over the place in my childhood...so much fun to stick your fingers into them. I wasn't very popular with mum, who's a florist! Hi Pan Man!
No way! My mum was a florist too! For while. A long time ago. I used to stick my fingers in there too (I still did). Those were supposed to be for some flowers of the wedding but we needed stands for the cake pops so forget about the flowers :-)) Then they were fried, of course, but I ran out of film so it wasn't document. It was only a half-disaster, all is well...
How bizarre is that? We're both florist's daughters. (Is that why you were named Sweat Pee???!)Mum hasn't done floristry for about 25 years now, so many memories flooded back from that one green block!! ;-))
What a great family. If only they had a frying pan instead of those baking sheets.

ReplyDeletePS. I don't suppose your grandfather was an opera singer??
ReplyDeleteNo, but he was a musician, and a orchestra conductor (aside from a tram conductor). Close!. He did sing too. In the church choir :-))
